Two players from each qualifier with the lowest scores not qualifying will comprise the Championship alternate list. The eight alternates will be ranked in order based on a blind draw of the four Qualifying Rounds, (i.e. 1st and 5th from the first round drawn, the 2nd and 6th from the second round drawn, etc.). If an exempt player withdraws from the Championship, alternates will be admitted in rank order. In the event that a qualifier participant withdraws from the Championship, the top alternate from that same qualifying site will fill the void spot. |
